Wayne started playing Dartball in the Wauzaukee Lutheran Dartball League (1955-2017) in Mequon, Wisconsin in 1955 with his Father at the age of 14.

He also played in the Northside Lutheran League (2005-2015) and the Milwaukee Senior League (2010-2015). 

Won many league championships in the Wauzaukee League and in the Northside Lutheran League. Was the league batting champion for 8 straight years in the Wauzaukee League in the 1970's, with a cummalative average of .569 over that span, and a high season of .605 in 1971-72.  He was also the league secretary for 10 years. He always hit over .400 over his his 62 year Dartball career.
